Khazar University Press, an independent publishing house affiliated with Khazar University, produces printed publications related to educational and research fields.

The publishing house mainly produces textbooks, monographs, conference transactions, scholarly journals, magazines, and other quality prose works.

It also publishes works translated from English and other languages into Azerbaijani and vice versa.

Since its founding in 1995, the Khazar University Press has been publishing the magazine (with a wide range of fields) Khazar Review (Azerbaijani: Xəzər Xəbər jurnalı) in three languages (English, Azerbaijani, and Russian).

The publishing house is also known for the academic Journal of Azerbaijani Studies (Azərbaycan Araşdırmaları Jurnalı), which was renamed

Khazar Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2011, and the Azerbaijan Archeology Journal (Azərbaycan Arxeologiyası jurnalı).

Khazar University Press also acts as the national ISBN agent for Azerbaijan as well as its national ISMN agent.

Khazar Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by Khazar University Press (Baku, Azerbaijan). The journal focuses on the results of original research projects in various fields of Politics, International Relations, Education, History of Thoughts, Language, and Literature. The journal is published out of Azerbaijan but accepts articles from authors all around the globe.

The popular and editorial/scientific Khazar Review is the only journal of its kind among journals published by Azerbaijani higher education institutions.

It was originally published in a newspaper style, then was published twice a month as a 40-page magazine for several years.Since 2010 it has been published monthly in an 80-page magazine format.In October 2011, the 300th edition of the Khazar View journal was printed.Subscription to the journal is managed through the “Azermetbuatyayimi” Open Joint-Stock Company and “Gasid” Open Joint-Stock Company, while retail sales are handled by “Metroservis” LLC.

At the same time, the journal is distributed free of charge to many individuals and organizations. From the first edition until the present, the senior editor of the journal has been Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, who was the president of Khazar University until September 2010 and since that time has been serving as the Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors and Trustees.

Nationally recognized academic and cultural workers are represented in the journal’s editorial board.
