Embrace of life,
a pure place in my heart,
a warm hearth of best resolve:
this is my Khazar.

Fiery call of my youth,
from deep seas to lofty mountains,
a beloved flowering garden:
this is my Khazar.

A name renowned, sought throughout the land,
so many vows of love whispered in these arms—
my life fills with meaning; my soul strives for the summits;
inspiration’s bright spring overflows from my Khazar.

As a mermaid splashing water
On the shores of the blue sea,
My muse sang of a bright “Khazar”
Marking with light my life’s story.

So I walk these honest reaches.
Heart, don’t say the way’s too far.
Step by step I’m growing wiser
In the search for my “Khazar!”

Here love forms the soul of nature.
Here the night is lit with stars.
Here our dreams take flight, ascending
From the lamp’s glow: my “Khazar”

My charmed heart will ache with longing
If ever we must be apart
It hums a tune to soothe this yearning—
This endless quest for my Khazar.

The wide horizon was aglow,
As the night was burning low,
Little golden arrows came
Shooting through my window pane.

Then the sun rose in the sky,
And all my world was filled with light.
Life can be just like a dream,
Like a fairy tale, it seems!

Let us love the earth so bright,
Be creative, read and write.
The surest way in coming times
Is to learn to use our minds!
