The International Affairs Office of Khazar University supports incoming and outgoing students and researchers. The Office provides consulting on different mobility-oriented opportunities (i.e., Erasmus+, Mevlana, and others), Double Degree programmes as well as visa and migration issues. Staff mobility and international guests are also welcomed by the Office.

Khazar University welcomes talented international students, academicians, and other professionals. We offer English language-taught academic programmes from various fields of study. The international community of Khazar University – students, researchers, academics, and guest lecturers from partner universities are very important members of the academic environment.

Khazar University is an integral part of many international partnerships and exchange programmes for student and staff, during which their gain plenty of new experiences and exchange brilliant ideas. International conferences, workshops, colloquiums, panel discussions and working meetings with foreign representatives are being organised at Khazar, probably, more often than anywhere in the broader region. The university has international cooperation with the educational institutions from Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Americas.

International students enjoy group activities and events, which are held in Baku and at Khazar. They have a chance to express their ideas and share their cultural values while studying at the university. They attend different educational fairs, social activities, cultural days and historic events. Besides this, the international office organizes some other activities including tours, trips, and holiday events for foreign students.

Admission procedure

Admission procedure for 2022/2023 academic year is open until 15 June 2022. The academic programmes offered for this year can be found on this page. After completing and then submitting the Application Form together with the other required documents, candidates get updates regarding their application status. If they are accepted, they receive the university’s Acceptance Offer, which also inform them about the total amount of their tuition fees to be paid prior to joining the classes. The deadline and other information are usually stated in the acceptance offer. After confirming the Offer and paying the bill, the prospective students receive final document, which allows them to start visa procedure. When they arrive in Azerbaijan, they apply to the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan for the temporary residence permit for study purposes.

 

How to apply

All applicants should download from the website and fill the Application Form out, specifying the programmes of their choice. All the information including the required documents and fees are also available in the Application Form.

After collecting all the required documents for the application, applicants should send all the documents to [email protected] . The e-mail’s subject should be the following: “Admission for 2022/2023 Academic Year”.
