Design major is offered at the undergraduate level by Khazar University from the 2015-2016 academic year.
The curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid professional education. The degree requires practical experience and therefore students are required to undertake internships, learning the business world hands-on. Elective courses are given to students to improve their knowledge in certain areas. New applied programs suitable for the design branch are preferred. After graduating from the design department, students are directed to the fields of "Graphic design", "Industrial design", "Interior design", "Architectural design", "Light design", "Ecological design" and "Landscape design".
