Khazar University's newly established Veterinary Medicine bachelor program offers study in all aspects of animal life and health. This allows us to specialize in both farm and pet animals.
A qualified specialist is allowed to do clinical examinations, treatment, and preventative measures on big and small horned animals, pigs, horses, birds, dogs, and cats. Animal disease research, including its origins and ways of transmission, is essential for better understanding and prevention of human zoonotic diseases.
By focusing on the welfare of animals, these specialists also create the basis for safe food production. Our primary mission is to train competitive specialists in animal husbandry, animal health and welfare, and food safety and quality.
